Mrs. Frehiwot Worku – Board Chair Person
Mrs. Frehiwot Worku holds a Bachelor of Science in administrative Management from Laney College Oakland, CA, and a Master’s Degree in Management of Business Administration from Gold Gate University San Francisco, CA. She has been served as an Executive Vice President Corporate, Executive Officer Human Resources Management, Division Manager Management Audit, System & Procedures, Senior Analyst, Expert Compensation, and Analyst Passenger Marketing at Ethiopian Airlines.
Additionally, she has been served as Vice President of the Ethiopian Employers Federation and Secretary-General (CEO) of Addis Ababa Red Cross. She is also certified for Management Consulting by the Ethiopian Management Institute and a member of SHRM USA.
Assistant Pro. Tewodros Wuhib
Mr. Tewodros Wuhib is an Assistant Professor at Department of Management at Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa. In his 13 years’ service tenure at Addis Ababa University, he has served the university in a different capacity (Assistant Dean; Chairperson of the Department of Management, and as an Academic Program officer).
Mr. Tewodros is personable and meticulous leadership professional and possess a high degree of integrity and an outstanding work ethic with profound experience (21 years) in teaching business management. Prior to joining Addis Ababa University, he has served Unity University as a Lecturer cum Department Head.
As a management Advisor at Timex Trading Plc, he has developed an operating procedure and policy manuals on finance, marketing and human resource. He has served as a Marketing expert and a foreign purchasing division head at kality Food Share Company.
In his service tenure in academics, he has developed several teaching materials for Unity University, Alpha University, Yardstick distance learning and Addis Ababa University. Furthermore, he has delivered trainings on various topics (team building, contemporary marketing, problem solving, stress and time management, customer handling, customer service management, Human resource management, procurement) for banks (Abyssinia and Wegagen), ECX, Great Run, Timex Plc, Ethio-Telecom, Save the children, to name a few.
Mr. Tewodros seek to share own knowledge and pleased with the success of others. He is dependable and courteous seeking to leverage the experience of others for the betterment of self-development and contribute his share in his endeavor.
He has a total of 24 years of work experience (21 years as an academician, and three years as a marketing expert and foreign purchasing division head in a food industry). Currently, as an Assistant Professor, he is working at College of Business and Economics, Department of Management, Addis Ababa University. Assistant professor Tewodros Wuhib holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in the field of Commerce from University of Symbiosis of Art and Commerce India.
Mrs. Nigist W/Selassie G/Kiros
Mrs. Nigist W/Selassie obtained a Master’s Degree in MBL (Masters of Business Leadership) from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and Masters of Business in Finance from Sikkim Manipal and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Addis Ababa University. She worked as Internal Audit Manager at CARE Ethiopia, as Internal audit Department Head at Awash Wine Share Company, as well as, she served in different organizations. Additionally, Mrs. Nigist is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors – Ethiopian Chapter (IIA-EC) and the Ethiopian Professional Association of Accountants and Auditors.
Mr. Ayenew Wudu Azagew
Mr. Ayenew Wudu is currently working as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Premier Switch Solutions. He has two decades’ experience in the banking sector served as IT Director at Abay Bank and System and Programing Division Head at the former Construction and Business Bank. Mr. Ayenew has extensive project management experience. He led many IT and Strategic development projects successfully as a Project Manager. Besides, Mr. Ayenew served at the Ethiopian Mapping Authority at various capacities for about 13 years starting from Junior Computer Programmer to Computer Service Team Leader.
Mr. Ayenew Wudu is multidisciplinary in his educational accomplishments. He holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from the School of Computer Science & Technology (HiLCoE), Ethiopia, with great distinction. He holds also Msc Degree in Geoinformatics from Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences (ITC), the Netherlands. He obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
Mrs. Addis Zelekaw
Mrs Addis Zelekaw holds a Masters Degree MBL (Mastery of Business Leadership) from the University of South Africa (UNISA), a Bachelor Degree (BA Degree) in the field of Management and Public Administration from Addis Ababa University, and Diploma in accounting from Junior College of Commerce.
She served as a Plan Preparation and Performance Monitoring Support Process Director and Human Resource Management & Organizational Methods and Development support process Director at Assela Malt Factory.
She worked as Human Resource Manager, Fixed Asset Registration and Control Head, Accounts’ supervisor and other accounting positions in accounting department at Wabe Shebelle Hotels’ Enterprise and Wabe Shebelle Hotel. She was a manager at Sheba guest house and Wetete Dairy products;
She is a board member of Marry Joy Ethiopia, a founder and member of Society of Human Resource Management in Ethiopia (SHRME), a member of Ethiopian Hotels’ Professionals Association, a member of UNISA Alumni in Ethiopia, and Toast Masters International Club.
Mrs. Yergedu Begashaw
Mrs. Yergedu Begashaw holds a Diploma in Business Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Education, and Master of Arts in Voc. She is a Certified Management Consultant with many years of extensive experience as a leader and consultant. Education from Addis Ababa University plus a diploma in accounting from Entoto Technical & Voc. College. She has been served as a General Manager, Program Coordinator, Head of Registrar, and Record Manager in different institutions which include medical centers and educational organizations. Addition to this she has served as a consultant at International Leadership Institute in order to establish senate legislation and student handbook.
Mr. Habtu Dimtsu

Mr Habtu Dimtsu is working as a freelance consultant and business person. He served as Chief Executive Advisor and Director, Business Development & strategic planning at Ybel Industrial PLC. and General Manager at Living Steel Construction PLC. Mrs. Habtu has a vast experience in banking sector as V-President, Business Development, Director, Business Development Process, Manager of Economic Research and Manager of Performance & Evaluation at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. Mr. Habtu is a multidisciplinary in his educational accomplishment he obtained MSc. Degree in Agricultural Economics from Gorki Agriculture Academy; MSc. in Development and Project Planning from Brad Ford University, UK; Advance Diploma in Development Economics from the University of Brad Ford, UK.
Mrs. Shitaye Hussein
Mrs. Shitaye is the Founder & Executive Director of Bahir Integrated Child and Family Support Organization since 2005. BICAFSO is an indigenous organization caring and supporting orphan and vulnerable children (OVCs). She is providing care and support to 75 OVCs in Addis Ababa, and Southern Nations Nationalities and Peoples Regional State Ethiopia. She has worked in leadership and various capacities at United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and at Ethiopian Airlines. Mrs. Shitaye obtained her MBA in Executive Management and Administration from Century University, New Mexico, USA- Distance Learning and BA in Business Administration from Addis Ababa University.
Mr. Itana Ayana
Mr. Itana Ayana is the owner and General Manager of ITAB consults Plc. He has led several baseline surveys, mid-term and final evaluation of rural development projects for NGOs and bilateral organizations operating in Ethiopia. Mr. Itana has worked at different capacity at the Development Bank of Ethiopia for over 22 years, and designed the formation of a number of micro finance institutions. He has extensive experience in project identification, feasibility studies, project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation rural development and private business. Mr. Itana obtained his MSc in Economic Development and Planning and BSc in Agricultural Economics from Addis Ababa University.
Mr. Eyobed Tibebu-
Mr. Eyobed Tibebu is working as a freelance insurance trainer, advisor and consultant in Risk and Insurance industry. He has worked in leadership and various capacities at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as Head of Inspection Division, Trade and Price Control Department, and later as a Secretary General of the provisional insurance board established by PMAC (Provisional Military Administration Council) after the nationalization of insurance companies. He also served as a member of the Board of Management of the Ethiopian Insurance Corporation, and as Manager of Marketing and Business Development Department of The African Insurance Company and later as Advisor and Personal Assistance to the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Eyobed obtained his Graduate Diploma in the training of trainers in development Administration from Jawaharial Nehru University, New Delhi, India; Bachelor of Law and International Studies from Unity University; Diploma in Accounting from Addis Ababa University.
Mrs. Roman Legesse
Mrs. Roman Legesse has served as Director, Procurement, Finance & Property Management, Director, Internal Audit, and under different capacity at Ethiopian Institutes of Agricultural Research. Mrs. Roman obtained her MSc in Accounting & Finance and BA in Accounting from Addis Ababa University.
Mr. Ermias Andarge
Mr. Ermias Andarge joined Enat Bank from the project period and played his part in establishing the Bank with the rest of the team. Mr. Ermias has served the Bank as Vice-President, Corporate Services and Director, Finance and Accounts Department. He has over two decades of banking experience at different capacities. Prior to joining Enat Bank, he held the positions of Director, Finance and Accounts Department, Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts Department, and other positions at the Bank of Abyssinia. Mr. Ermias obtained his Masters of International Business from University of Greenwich London, BA and Diploma in Accounting from Addis Ababa University and College of Commerce
Mrs. Genet Hagos Gebremedhin
V/President, Corporate Services
Mrs. Genet Hagos has joined Enat Bank as Director of Internal Audit Department in January 2015 and currently serves the bank as V/P Corporate Services. Mrs. Genet had been Director of Internal Audit at Lion International Bank, Senior Risk Manager at Vision Fund Micro Finance Institution Senior inspector at Hibret Bank S.C and has served Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and East African Bottling Company at different capacity. Mrs. Genet has obtained Master of Business administration specialized in Finance from Sikkim Manipal University of India, BA degree in Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University and Diploma in Accounting from Addis Ababa College of Commerce. She has a diploma in IFRS from ACCA, certificate in COBIT-5 foundation from ISACA and is taking certification exams of ACCA. She has also taken various trainings on different topics locally and abroad.
Mrs. Tigist Abate
Mrs. Tigist Abate Joined Enat Bank after two decade of banking experience at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE). She served as Vice President – Credit Appraisal Team, Director-Credit Appraisal Team Director – Business & Corporate Customers Relationship Management Team, and Manager – Corporate Communications as well as other different managerial positions at CBE for more than 24 years since 1996. Mrs. Tigist holds MBA in International Business from University of Greenwich and BA in Accounting from Addis Ababa University and she took different long-term and short-term trainings, workshops and experience sharing Conferences from local and international Institutions that equipped her with vast knowledge and skill in Leadership, Corporate finance and Business Analysis and other critical skills to enable her contribute a lot in the financial sector of the country.
Mr. Tefera Tolessa
V/President, Information Systems
Mr. Tefera Tolessa joined Enat Bank after two decade of banking experience at Bank of Abyssinia. He served as a Director, Deputy Director, and Deputy Manager of Information Systems as well as other different managerial positions at Bank of Abyssinia. He also worked as a computer programmer in Addis Ababa University. He has participated in the execution of different IT projects including the implementation of Core banking system at Bank of Abyssinia. Mr. Tefera holds Master of Science in Software Engineering from HiLCoE School of Computer Science and Technology, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Addis Ababa University. He participated and took different trainings, workshops and certifications from International and local institutions.
