Preparing your shares for trading
Your shares are yours. To trade them, they need to exist electronically and be linked to your own brokerage account. The four steps below are how that happens.

Step 1: The Bank registers your shares electronically
The Bank migrates existing shareholdings from the share register into an issuer-side account at the CSD.

Step 2: Open a brokerage account
Open an account with an ECMA-licensed broker or dealer that is a registered CSD Participant.

- Your Enat Bank share certificate or shareholder number
- Proof of address and a passport-size photograph

- You hold an active brokerage account with a CSD Participant.

Step 3: Submit a Dematerialisation Request Form
Your broker submits the form to the Registrar, which verifies your holding and moves it from the issuer-side record into your brokerage account.

- The Registrar has verified your holding and credited it to your account.

Step 4: Your shares are activated for trading
Your holding sits in your own brokerage account and can be held, transferred, pledged or traded.

If you do nothing
Shares left in the issuer-side account cannot be sold, transferred or pledged.
Holdings that remain unlinked to a brokerage account may face further restrictions. Your ownership is not affected, and your dividend and voting rights are unchanged.

The broker list has not yet been supplied. When Enat Bank provides the list of ECMA-licensed brokers that are registered CSD Participants, it will be published here. In the meantime, contact the Share Administration Division.
Tax
Dividend withholding tax
A withholding tax of 15% is applied to dividend payments.
