Enat Bank Hosted First-Ever GABV Africa Chapter Meeting in Ethiopia

Meeting was held on October 1–2, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Addis Ababa, bringing together regional and global leaders in values-based banking under the theme, “Transforming Banking: Leveraging ESG and Technology for Financial Impact.”

opening speech Mrs. Aster Solomon, Board Chairperson of Enat Bank, underscored the bank's founding mandate empowering women and their families economically while delivering comprehensive, accessible financial services to  all  society .

Mrs. Aster highlighted that Enat Bank's emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and inclusive investment has delivered strong financial results, built strategic business partnerships, and contributed directly to Ethiopia's national economic growth.

GABV Executive Director Martin Rohner emphasized that the meeting offers members a platform to generate innovative ideas, share industry expertise, and accelerate transformation banking sector. He expressed appreciation to Enat Bank for hosting the 2026 Africa Chapter gathering and praised its leadership in sustainable finance.
