Enat Bank held experience sharing meeting with UN Under-secretary General

The UN Under-secretary General for General Assembly & Conference Management, Dr. Tegegnework Gettu, has met with Enat Bank’s BoD Chairperson W/ro Meaza Ashenafi, Bank’s promoter & owner and manager of Muya Ethiopia P.L.C. and Sara Garment, W/ro Sara Abera, A/President W/ro Birtukan G/Egzi, Management and an exemplar entrepreneur in pottery art & one among the founders of Enat Bank.
Dr. Tegegnework’s visit, an economist by profession, was focused on the further exploring of developmental strategies and available opportunities to step-up Enat’s operations towards the achievement of its mission & vision.
"The visit of Dr. Tegegnework Gettu to Enat, signals the importance he attached to the vision of the Bank, and his commitment to strengthen the Bank's functions and operations.” W/ro Meaza noted while making the introduction. Proceeding with the discussion, Bank's A/President explained the processes Enat Bank has passed through to reach its current position in the banking industry. The operation part along with the unique products & services of Enat was presented by the Director Branch Operation & Outlet Management, Ato Ermias Tefera; while Director Legal service & Women Financial access Strategist W/ro Shewaye Takele, elaborated on the how of realizing its vision – leveraging women: which is believed to be Enat Bank’s supportive role to the Government’s efforts.
Dr Tegene on his part shared from his rich professional background and international experience, on how Enat Bank should tackle the market as well as achieve its vision of empowering women. Among which initiating contact with the new UNDP Resident Representative is comprised. His visit also allowed the Bank to brainstorm and get a clearer stand in accomplishing both objectives, banking's core functions & aspects of leveraging women.
