Enat Bank opened its 15th, 16th and 17th branch this April alone in three consecutive Saturdays on the 9th, 16th and 23rd, 2016. This shows how the bank is committed to serve its loyal customers with better proximity.|
Its 15th branch around 22 was named after Muluemebet Emiru, who was the First African Woman Pilot and the First Ethiopian Woman to ever hold a driving license. Family representatives of W/ro. Muluemebet were present at the ceremony, and had expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Enat Bank for naming a branch after her.
The next stop was the heart of Merkato, “Wenbere Tera Branch” named after our oldest ancestor “Dinknesh Lucy”. As per President Obama of the United States remarks during his visit to Ethiopia in July 2015 after visiting LUCY fossil at the Museum, “You know Ethiopians are an ancient people in an ancient land,”, “We honor Ethiopia as the birthplace of humankind. In fact, Lucy is our oldest ancestor”.
Its 17th branch and the last for the month of April was “Furi Branch” named after Athlete Fatuma Roba. She is Africa’s first female to win a gold medal in the women’s Olympic marathon race in 1996, and who earned nickname of ”Our Lady of Boston” for winning 3 straight Boston Marathons.
Just as these women brought glory and prestige to our country, Enat bank S.C will strive to remain true to its name and set a trend in the provision of best quality banking services, and always work in stimulating social, and economic developments, and in creating shareholders’ value.
MAN ENDE ENAT!
